GMBA 組織及安排重慶江北區陳茂常委所帶領的德國商務考察團活動,期間到訪了德國西門子總部, 西門子總裁Mr. Siegfried Neubauer , 及Mr. Josef Mengis 参與接見及進行了深入的座談會, 其它考察 包括到訪Duisburg , 連接重慶貨運火車的總站, 由港口董事總經理Mr. Putin 接見及介紹. 亦到了德國 著名建築師樓Ingenhoven Architects ,瞭解現代城市設計及可持續發展理念, 也参觀了超過100年歷史 的著名德國酒莊weingut Gabel 及Winkel Herding 和德國歷史悠久名城Leipzig 大學( 前北京大學校長,著名 學者蔡元培先Th的母校) 及Leipzig 市政廳, 瞭解現代化城市建設及保存古舊建築的方法.
